A New Power Control Algorithm for Cellular CDMA Systems
Abstract
The \u00a0conventional \u00a0closed-loop \u00a0power \u00a0control \u00a0in \u00a0cellular \u00a0code \u00a0division \u00a0multiple \u00a0access \u00a0systems can only achieve limited performance due to its inability to track channel variations quickly. In this paper, we present \u00a0a \u00a0new \u00a0power \u00a0control \u00a0algorithm \u00a0which \u00a0is \u00a0able \u00a0to \u00a0increase \u00a0the \u00a0speed \u00a0of \u00a0convergence \u00a0to \u00a0track \u00a0the changes in radio channel efficiently. Simulation results show that it outperforms the conventional algorithms.
