In \u00a0this \u00a0paper, \u00a0we \u00a0investigate \u00a0the \u00a0color \u00a0image \u00a0encryption \u00a0based \u00a0on \u00a0fractional-order \u00a0memristive
neuron \u00a0system \u00a0and \u00a0DNA \u00a0coding \u00a0technology. \u00a0The \u00a0proposed \u00a0encryption \u00a0method \u00a0consists \u00a0of \u00a0two \u00a0stages:
permutation \u00a0and \u00a0diffusion. \u00a0Some \u00a0numerical \u00a0examples \u00a0are \u00a0exploited \u00a0to \u00a0demonstrate \u00a0the \u00a0feasibility \u00a0of \u00a0the
encryption algorithm, and the security analysis shows that the algorithm has high security and good resistance
to statistical attacks.
